 JM. Benjamin is an award winning and Essence Best Selling author from Plainfield, New Jersey. In 2006, he quickly made his presence felt in the fast growing genre of Urban Literature with his freshman novel Down In The Dirty, published by Flowers In Bloom Publishing. Ironically, his only credentials as a street tale story teller is simply his own first hand experience and knowledge of what the streets consist of. He is also a motivational speaker. In Feb. 2007, J.M. Benjamin released his sophomore novel My Manz And Em under Real Edutainment Publishing, which he is founder and co-owner of. His third novel, Ride Or Die Chick, earned him a spot on the Essence list and Black Expressions. Ride Or Die Chick 2 is scheduled to be released sometime this year under Flowers In Bloom Publishing. J.M.Benjamin is the founder and CEO of A New Quality Publishing, which his new books titled On The Run With Love and Heaven & Earth, Fall 2008, will be published. It is his intent to capture the street lit genre in its rawest form in hopes to deter the youth and his peers alike who have traveled or intend to travel down the path he once chose. Since being introduced to readers in the anthology, Menace II Society with the short story titled Keeping It Gangsta he has secured a position in the Urban Literature genre and has become a major asset when it comes to making a difference in the minds of his readers. He is also a contributing author to the anthology presented by Nikki Turner, Christmas In The Hood, and a non-fiction motivational book titled Changin Your Game Plan by Randy Kearse. J.M. still resides in New Jersey.


      



Erick S. Gray has been writing since 1997. He has total sales approaching 100,000. He is signed to St. Martins Press and has a new release due May 06. The writer was born in the south side of Jamaica, Queens. He continues bringing you good stories as he shows in the collaboration with Mark Anthony and Anthony Whyte, STREETS OF NEW YORK VOLUME 1, Ghetto Heaven, and his most recent smash, Money Power Respect, along with Booty Call *69, and the anticipating novel soon to be released, Its' Like Candy.








Wahida Clark was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. She decided to start writing fiction while incarcerated at a women's federal camp in Lexington, KY. Wahida’s writing style is gritty and realistic. When you read her novels you are convinced of one of three things: that you are inside the book, you know the characters, or you just have to meet them! Her first novel, Thugs And The Women Who Love Them and the sequel, Every Thug Needs A Lady appeared on the Essence Best Sellers List.

David L.
, author and publisher, holds a BS. in Communications and Human Relations and a Masters in Social Work with a concentration in clinical administration. David L. has authored several published articles relating to race relations; "How To" articles in becoming a self-published au-thor. David L. is also very active in his community and participates in public speaking engagements with various schools and foster care agencies."
In the fall of 2004, he self pub-lished first novel - “It's Like Butter, Baby” and became one of New York City's best selling self publishers. His previous release entitled “Over Your Dead Body”, is set in present-day New York, written in character-specific dialogue to effectively capture the essence of it’s realism to urban America. “Over Your Dead Body!” stands alone in two ways: First, it provides a passionate backdrop of just how fragile an institution like marriage can be.
